Examining the morality around lying. I attempted this one without writing it out first... and ended up writing text anyway! Let me know how I did. It may be helpful to watch The Human Right pt1 first.

  • wtf get a hobbie

  • @1748380 - How did the fact that this is one of my hobbies escape you? lol

  • This is a very complicated topic with many distinct circumstances. While I hate having to lie, I find it almost essential in my life. I'm not going to tell my own life story, but consider this. You're a well-loved and productive member of society, but you have a career or sexual orientation that society at large hates. When people ask you about your career or orientation, you lie to avoid society potentially hating you despite being such a good person in loved in all other ways.

  • @thefourthcumming - too right. I covered this in discussing the right to protect your own rights. If you are not hiding being guilty of violating someone else's rights, you are not continuing to violate rights by keeping your own personal details to yourself. The world is full of people who judge inappropriately and will create consequences for the judged even if they are legally prohibited. On the other hand, if you're an active child molester who wants to work at a school, it doesn't apply.

  • WILL YOU BE BALD AT 48, PRECIOUS?

  • @MisterMassMurderer - It's very unlikely. Do you have a productive question for me?

  • I want to give you a hug. AWKWARD.

  • @whatUneverknew Cool cool, I love your videos by the way.

  • Also, lying can save people from liability. Let's say you have a controversial peronal life, but at work you are a great person. You are the best employee at work, all the children and parents love you, you make everyone happy, you do a great job, etcetera. But if the boss knew details from your personal life, he might have to fire you, whether for social reasons or legal reasons. So when your boss asks you certain questions about your life, it might be much easier to lie.

  • Very insightful

  • @whatUneverknew NO BUT A BETTER COMMENT: CHRONIC LIARS SEEM TO FORGET THAT OUR MEMORY IS WHO WE ARE --- THAT IS OUR SOUL AND THAT ENERGY NEVER GOES AWAY --- WHEN THE HUMAN HEART STOPS BEATING THE SOUL'S EARTHLY EXPERIENCES LAND RIGHT IN OUR LAPS AND WE THEN MUST JUDGE OURSELVES ---- THERE IS ONLY ONE OPTION IN THE SPIRIT REALM: TRUTH --- NOBODY ELSE WILL JUDGE US, LUV!
