The first half of Death Note was really good. But the later half was a bit of a downhill. Not only L died a bit too early in the series, but also Near is not my favourite character. There are too much new Kiras in the later half of the series, which for me was like watching a bunch of filler episodes. Still, the series was good overall. But I hate this opening compare to first one, as I'm not into death metal styled music.
