Thats sounds pretty good, but would it be worth it to buy long tubes and the shorty x mid pipe?

Or is shorty heads and o/r x pipe basicaly the same thing?

@BAWLS2894 There not the same thing. Basically if you buy shorties your paying for something with the same flow as stock.Either get longtubes with midpipe or just get the midpipe, shorties are a waist of money.

@BAWLS2894 ....wrong, i had lontubes on my 5.0.....yea very loud!!!....but the guy who did it made problems with the headers so i put shorties on.....they are a tad bit louder than stock manifolds, and they do give an improvement on performance(enough to notice)....dont listen to that guy....but i would save the money for longtubes...

@ROBBY639 A "tad bit louder" isn't worth the money, also a 3.8 is not a 5.0. And you said so yourself that shorties don't produce enough power to notice. 5.0s take mods better than 3.8s while something works for your car doesn't mean it applies to another. 5.0s manifolds suck to begin with so yes shorties will improve it "some"......but not for a 3.8. Longtubes or nothing.

this is gonna sound dumb, but i have a 96 v6 stang, if i put off road x pipes on it, i can drive on the road right? lol ive heard some people say you cant

@Tonyballin247 aw that sucks :/ i just got a CAI intake for xmas and my dad is having my exhaust put on for my bday, very similar to what this guy has which has an awesome tone to it :)
