Hey everyone, this is a quick video showing you some beginner tips on pitch shifting your vocals with the Pitch Shifter plug-in in Logic...

Basically this video will show you how to drop your vocals like you hear in Rap/Hip Hop music as well as make your voices sound like chipmunks.. Have fun with it and see what crazy concepts you can come up with...

Will have more videos with regards to this topic soon...

  • @iamjakkal thanks for watching.. more great tips always coming....

  • Good tutorial man. I think your the next rap superstar haha. You also could just automate the pitch shift so you don't need to make another track....

  • @TheTrebek thanks!!! You can automate it.. I just like to have my effects on a seperate tracks... It gives me more workability...

  • Can you get the sound to go low gradually?

  • @Joengen you can!! All you have to do is add some automation to that parameter.. You could pretty much automate anything in Logic!!

  • wouldnt it be easier if you automated the first with pitch shifter?

  • i have a question : well can you do this with automation for example go from -5to +5 but do this smoothly thanks man loving your videos

  • @SouthSoundEnt the same method. You use the included pitch shifter

  • Another excellent tutorial! Thx Adam!

  • that was really cool, how do you make the sound effect over a curse word like in todays music

  • They talk, they rap, they go dadadadada haha

  • PLEASE HOW TO DO THIS IN SONAR X1!!

  • I don't know if this is related to this tutorial, but is there a way to do the whole male-to-female voice change, like you can in Garageband? The pitch change seems restricted and doesn't really apply a whole voice change.
