The Shoshone Falls are one of the beauties of Idaho, of the west. They are often compared to Niagra Falls. This video shows the Snake River at a time when the river is running low. Good run-off, the falls are thundering & beautiful. The river is very deceptive, & very deadly. Many have died in its hidden currents & whirl pools. It will take a small boat down, & leave others alone. The river is one of the biggest in the state, out of three. Has some great white water.

Love seeing these again. It's a unique area and I hope others can enjoy the beauty of the surrounding area. Wow! The falls look fantastigue.
