Do you guys think it is possible to re-map the CDJ-101 to use the pitch as a crossfader, so I could set up 2 of them to scratch with?? :)
-
So... this is for ages 12 and under right?
-
@djmalarky you make a lot of sense sir best to you too
-
@Djsilentblaze I understand you my friend Im just saying if you are a horrible Dj but you have great equipment, the gig will probably be horrible. But, if you are a great Dj using lwo end or so called cheap equipment then the gig is going to be as great as the Dj using it. That my friend is how you should base your financial standards when you charge for your next party or event. I'm not the low ball in my town but I'm not the most exspensive either. My best to you!!!!

@djmalarky okay okay i get your point i just used the wrong words i don't like the gear!! i've matured since that comment its all about the gear you use as long as the rock the crowd but some people use cheap gear like this and charge people a lot of money for gigs i just think its not fair!!
-
@Djsilentblaze If your loosing gigs because your gear isnt pretty then you might want to get another job. The only thing that needs to be professional is you the DJ. Ive never ever had a client even seem slightly concerned with they brand name of equipment they know nothing about. As long as you are the pro and have a list of actual references then you should be able to rock a show with radio shack gear!!!

@djmalarky now, theres too much hardware to choose from.... kids have pretentions, they don't want cheap plastic. back in the 80's you would use any piece of hardware
-
To be honest, I'd just use these for play/cue functions. The OMNI control has some sketchy play buttons :/ regardless, if I had these for cheap, I'd probably use them :D

Half of the dj crap at NAMM wont even make sells. Pioneer, Rane, Allen & Heath and Technics have a stranglehold on the market. I wouldnt even try.
