As his loved one (mother, sister, or wife/girlfriend) is ready to leave earth, Lama recounts the painful details of parting her; the whiteness of her skin, the special Sunday clothes, and finally the descent into earth. When his desperate attempts to bring her back to life fail, he realises he must let go, and so he leaves her to fill the sky with her eternal presence. This is an amateur translation, so all corrections and constructive criticisms are welcome. Special thanks to Philipchek of Paris and YouTube for his notes and corrections. You can check his channel for French translations of English videos.
Note: at 1:40, the subtitle should read "breath" (noun) and not "breathe" (verb). That was a spelling mistake.

Congratulations!!! The milk thistle flying off is very nice. The translation is good and the subtitles look nice. I never heard this song and it will probably be new to a lot of people.

J'entendais cette chanson quand j'étais enfant, sur les vinyls de mes soeurs ainées :)
