Great video of Elvis Presley singing "Help Me Make It Through The Night," appropriately "us," as Elvis sang at ending. Sounded as though he was not performing, just singing as though he were home alone or walking about at Graceland. Or, while spending time at the ranch. Reminds me a bit of "The Elvis Letter" owned and sung by Wayne Newton. Such a contradiction is life of Elvis Presley: he wants to be alone but wants to perform, thriving on live feedback.

This release is one of my favourite FTDs. Although Elvis seemed to be very tired - which is no wonder regarding the time he performed; three o'clock in the morning - i just love it. This particular song sounds even better and more authentic in the early morning hours,,,he really wanted someone to help him make it through the night:)
