As an alternative to the original song, I use my own composed music in Falcon 4.0: Allied Force.

I created a more morbid, wardrama atmosphere as opposed to the original song.

The song is also available for download in the 'music' section on my website.

  • It's Silent Hunter III Music?

  • No, I wrote the song myself.

  • Is there a way to convert it to a .wav so the game will detect it?

  • shademusicstudios[dot]com/falcon/ui1[dot]wav

  • Hi, downloaded as .wav, as I am thick please how do I get it into Allied force???????

  • Goto the music folder of your installed Falcon 4. Then rename the current "ui1.wav" to "ui2.wav" if you wish to keep it. Then copy my "ui1.wav" song into that folder, and it should work. :)

  • Err, not as realistic in what way? Because Falcon 4.0 is widely regarded as the single most realistic simulation of a fighter aircraft ever made available to the general public...

  • @flying8speedistra : In real life... you will never hear any sound in case bullets hits! ... So if you want to be realist, put all crack sounds, bullets hits etc... to zero! ... And in a fighter jet cockpit, with the helmet, you hear almost nothing execpt radios, betty and warning tones... ;)

  • @NightShader1 thanx m8, working perfectly

  • Hi NightShader, this is a superb composition! Good job mate!

  • nvm i got it

  • how do u download it, when i click, it shows me wat it is, and where do u find the sound file in C:lead pursuit

  • Yes, replace the original sound file named "ui1" with any track you choose, using a converter to adjust the sample rate to exactly 22,050 Hz and do not go above 705 kbps. Use Wave Audio format. It's a good idea to simply rename "ui1" in that directory to something like "ui1-Old" in case you desire to easily restore the original.

I've had success using the free WavePadEditor version to make the conversion.

  • Yes you can, you can even use the original videos from the Korea campaign. If you have the original F4, look at the directory structure for the Korea campaign folders and make sure that AF is set up the same way. As far as the menu music goes, F4AF will only recognize one menu track, so you have to take the three originals and combine them into one and then save it over the crappy F4AF music. Hopefully this helps.

  • Yeah I'd like to know too, they were better.

  • Ok Sorry. Good Song *****
