This is the second of my 2-video-show on how to weather the modern well car.
In this video focus will be put on the wheels and trucks. I do not airbrush these, but paint the old-fashioned with a fine brush. I let them dry and add some dry pastel powder. Depending on the age of the car, the more or less rust will be added.

Enjoy the movie and please comment on improvements.

  • Your results are fantastic.

New wheels are lightly surface rusted. After wheels have been in service a while they become coated with grease and oil.

  • @usra060 Thanks. yes the wheels most either look rusty or almost black from oil and grease.

  • Excelent. Keep these Clinics Coming they're amazingly helpful!

  • Thanks. I will.

There is some additional videos on a Gondola, bulkhead flats and covered hopper in the next couple of months.
