I had to go to BBB and Office of Consumer Affairs, to fight the fee. Once you sign up you have 24 hours to cancel if you are not happy, after that you pay $460. After many refutes, I finally forced DTV to waive my cancellation fee which was hidden in the small print. I have IO atm, and they have JD powers recognition, I'm very happy with the service, programming, and I get triple play for only $97 a month, can't beat that.

Huh. Have had Direct TV for years, and no problems at all. Have had nothing but cooperation from Customer Service.

Direct TV is a scam, DO NOT BUY IT! The image flickers, and blurs occasionally while you watch, the programming is horrible, and if you cancel it you'll be charged $20 dollars per additional month of the contract. I tried it for 15 days, and it's horrible, I called for 3 consecutive days and their computers were down so I couldn't cancel, and when I was finally able to cancel, they wanted to charge me $440, now I have to fight them in court. This happens to EVERYONE, DO NOT BUY IT!!!
