Everybody knows and understand he is not true God. The title God here is just a reflection of how all people of India revere him, he unites them like no other person. So take this in this context that all Indians follow him regardless of faith they follow. And you mentioned Tendulkar himself said Im no God, but tell me if you believe in a God when was the last time your God said to you or anybody that I AM GOD.

Oh my my...I still get goosebumps when I watch this! I actually woke up...such was the noise coming out of the mess. Glad I did and was able to witness history! :)
