Autopia. Tomorrowland. Disneyland California. 1993.

Me and my friend went on the Autopia in 1993.
She is the one in the car ahead me, as I filmed with one hand on the steering wheel the other hand holding my camcorder and driveing while watching thru my small monitor.
Just like everybody else do's driving on the freeway!

these were the best autopia cars ever. bob gurr designed many models,but this is the one that stood the test of time.

I have seen and heard of Bob Gurr on YouTube videos.

They made him a small replica of the Matterhorn that runs and can make him martinis from the console inside.

Thats very cool indeed!

@12161euclid bob gurr once said "if it has wheels and it's at disneyland i probably designed it. he was instrumental from the start. all of the main st. vehicles are known as "gurrmobiles". he's one of the imagineers i'd love to meet and talk to about his dosneyland career. the autopia cars were some of his most challenging creations because of the wear and tear they had to go through on a daily basis. he basically built them from scratch,and had to keep making improvements almost annually.
