  • 2 sm of snow is NOT offroad))

  • @cvikye okay.. I had a Subaru Leone-87,and that car was much better than both Haldex 2 and Haldex 4...these new systems is only good for the fuel consumption,i think..my Subaru could go in snow all over the front without problems..my Skoda gives up after a few meters in 30 cm dry snow.. The new Subarus are not so good as the old ones, but better than cars with Haldex,i think.. what´s your opinion?

  • @bollhane I have Haldex generation 2 but i rode in Haldex 4 and its much more better. For example it has EDS (Electronic diferencial lock ) on all four wheels so system can transfer up to 99% of traction at any wheel, Haldex 2 has EDS only on two front wheels, Haldex 4 uses esp gyro sensor for optimal traction and there are many things wich make this system better.

  • @cvikye Do you have Haldex generation 2 or Haldex gen.4..?i have octavia with Haldex 2..they say that Haldex 4 is better in performance...

  • @cvikye you are right about that..it´s a helpful system,but not extreme...

  • @bollhane i don´t think that HALDEX is bad system, yes in terrain are better car then car with haldex but i think it´s very very helpful system, i have OCTAVIA 4x4 and in winter its much more comfortable in roads. I think HLADEX is great system when you don´t except heavy offroad car.

  • i don´t think this is much of snow driving...it´s no deep snow and my volvo p1800 could do this as well..i drive it in the winter... i also have an octavia 4WD with haldex..it´s not a real 4wD i get stucked after a few meters in 25-30 cm deep soft snow, and in wet snow i can´t drive one meter..!!!i had a subaru legacy who could go with snow all over the front..that´s what i call 4WD..!!haldex is bad system..that´s it..!!!
