New Seekers' version of Sweet Louise now performed by Four Times Over. (lead vocals Cat Rhyann) They've released a tribute album in memory of Peter Doyle who was an original member of the New Seekers from 1970-1973. After that Peter persued a successful solo career. This tribute album is unique in more ways than one and all the proceeds of each copy sold will go to the Peter Doyle Fund. This is a limited edition! Sweet Louise is only one of the tracks on this album. Two songs of Peter Doyle's solo album "Skin deep" have been included as well as songs Peter Doyle used to sing when he was with the New Seekers. Some studio recordings as well as songs the New Seekers played at the Royal Albert Hall in 1972 where Peter was clearly present. As special guest Lyn Paul recorded two tracks with Four Times on their Peter Doyle tribute album. For more details please go to

Great vocals! Also like the guitars very much. Do I hear correctly and are there two different types of guitars? I play guitar myself so I'm curious.

You have good ears! For this particular recording two different types of guitars were used. A classical guitar to put down the parts that originally were played by violins (a wonderful arrangement created by David Mackay) and an acoustic Gibson guitar.

Four Times Over will start recording in the studios in March 2009. Their next album will be released in the same year. The release date will be announced on their official website in 2009. So best thing to do is to visit their official site frequently. Thank you.

Just HAD to respond to this song. I know the original sung by Peter Doyle and Four Times Over's version is just as good! I think you've truly paid tribute to Peter Doyle. Top of the class! Keep up the good work.
