Crossroads, Another Story, Ep.13 Mary Deiyon vs Shar-Makai

At time to time, I will swap who I'll use to continue the story in another way. As for what happens to Noroko and Reimu, I'll leave that a mystery for now...

The rain was pooring hard. Mary wasn't sure for how long she had been walking. She knew it was long enough that she couldn't see the city anymore. She was in some plains with grass about 5-6 feet tall. What kept her going was the letter she recieved from someone anonymous. She could still remember what was writton on that letter:

Dear Mary,

I know that this is odd getting a letter from someone you might never know, but time is crucial. As you may have noticed, our fair city has been under attack by strange monsters. Most people who got in they're way faild to completly stop them, if they were to do anything at all.

I know you want to help, Mary. But you may fail just as many others have. What I need you for is to find help outside of the city. I especially want you to find Link, Mario, and Zero. They're legendary prowess is something that we need to fend off these beasts. Your journey will be a rough one, so be careful.

Oh yeah, and I might as well give you the little info I have about the monsters. They are called shar-makai.

The letter had a picture of what appeared to be a large worm with a stinger and bony-teeth

The letter did not have a return adress. But like that mattered to Mary. She wanted to help people, and a helping hand from those three people may be the only chance she's got.

She knew she heard those names from somewhere, but she forgot where.

Mary heard something move in the grass up ahead. She stood back to see what it was. A few worm-like monsters showed up.

Mary: Could these be the shar-makai that the letter mentioned?

There was no doubt about that, Mary thought. She tried to run, but was soon surrounded. With no escape, Mary took her stance as the shar-makai drew closer.

Pros: Mary has a ton of attack power and good attack speed. Has a few freedom of movement abilities as well (not many).

Cons: Very low defence/life. Can't run (she hops instead).

This vid makes Mary look too powerful (because she's outnumbered). There were a few times I lost because of her poor defence though.
