The custom crush facility based in California, Crushpad, was founded just a few years ago. Today, the company has expanded its operations, with a facility in Bordeaux, which allows wine lovers and make their own wines, with as much or as little involvement as desired, sourcing grapes from some of the world's greatest vineyards. The company was born by president and CEO, Michael Brill, who recently sat down with me at our Cork'd offices to chat. We spoke about how the Crushpad concept was developed, how its grown by leaps and bounds, and how someone that's interested in making their own wine can get involved. Not only has Crushpad achieved huge success in just a few years time, but they've recently put their wine up against a competitor, City Winery, in a recent, friendly "Smackdown".
