Special Sunday edition of the Polar Bear Express heads south from Moosonee. Special train to compensate for train not running on the previous Friday (Christmas).

  • The lead locomotive 2201 was built in 1977 and acquired in 2005, 1808 was built and acquired in 1984. No idea about years of service but the ONR is still running GP9s from the 1950s. Some of the passenger cars are from the early 1950s as well. The ONR is refurbishing them to give them another 15 years of life.
