Will the XR650 run with the flow comfortable on the interstates?

I live on the open land about 25 miles East of Denver, CO. I'm about to buy a Honda XR 650L. I commute about 15 minutes to work on the main highway in my truck at 75mph speed limit. Then same highway to college. I have looked at every Enduro motorcycle under the sweet sun and this seems just about the best for price and reliability. I do have previous dirt bike experience & am 6'4. Gas mileage is also an issue. Especially if I drive on the highway at 75mph often...Am I making the right move??

@jjneet Yes, you need an XRL.
I've fallen in love with this video since my first time viewing it almost a year ago. Meanwhile, the song preceding "Firecracker" was also new to me. What is the name of that song, and who is it by?

@carobelle95 Sorry it took so long to answer, I have been off the computor for a few days...I don't recall the name of the group, but I think the song is Goust Riders in the Sky.
I am glad you have enjoyed this video!

Maybe in a couple more years the XR can be an old red dog, but my dog is an old blue dog:-).

Like your videos. Usually I prefer to hear the motorcycle rather than music, but I especially liked your use of Black Betty by Spiderbait on one of your videos. Hadn't heard their version before, so thanks for waking me up to that one. I've owned maybe 23 motorcycles over the last 48 years, but I haven't had an XR650L yet. I am thinking that I need one soon. Jon in Puyallup, Wa. USA. We have some nice twisty roads up here too that an XR650L would be a riot on (and some trails too!).

Thank you for the great comment...
I have not posted a video is a while, I guess I will have to post some with engine noise:-)
I have heard that your area is full of great roads and trails. You will enjoy the XRL on them. I have enjoyed mine, and have put over 12,000 miles on it this year. I have had no problems out of it. They may not be the most powerful bikes out there, but they are tough, reliable and fun.
If you are ever in western NC, shoot me a line and we will go for a ride.
