How ironic that as troubled she was she also had the most amazing and beautiful smile!Forget about the fact that she was a beautiful woman, she just pops out of the screen as an incredibly beautiful person... look at all of that magnificent bright aura all around her, it jumps out of the screen! To be bluntly honest I dont think that this world and what we've made of it is for everybody, and people like Marilyn do strike me as being "earthbound" stars. She is better off wherever she is now.

I miss her.

A real STAR.....indeed a real STAR.....It shines SO BRIGHT

forgot to mention how marilyn was no longer apart of fox studios and made her own producyion company, so she had controll of the film she was to go for

I got mad love for MM but if you keep not showing up for work, come in when you wanna come in and it's costing folks and your making major money, in spite of the foibles you may have yet you have it in your contract as to whom you wish to work with and how, and yet you STILL don't make it to work, come on, something's truly got to give.

the 1996 documentary "Immortal Goddess" is pretty good and has the footage that MM was allowed to go to the BDAY for JFK, but 20th didn't want her to go. She did anyway.

Such a tragic figure. So used and abused by those who were only interested in her celebrity.

Marilyn was beyond radiant in this picture! Ive heard many say that the footage which WAS caught on film was unusable due to Marilyn being 'spaced out' but as these clips prove, she was at her beautiful best! I believe if this film had have come about it would be up there with the likes of Some Like It Hot! Shes simply dazzling, and seems to have a glow around her, as if you can see her aura. She was, and will always be a true treasure, someone that will only be a 'once in a lifetime'
"Unfortunatly, I am involved in a freedom ride protesting the loss of the minority rights belonging to the few remaining Earthbound stars. After all, all we demanded was our right to twinkle.
Marilyn Monroe."

I have this video, first fox denied that she was forbidden to go to the Birthday celebration in New York the documentary proofed she was aloud to go. But on the DVD that released some years ago, it was cut out of the documentary. That's strange.
