First written in the early 1990's, Stephen Mead's homage to artist Vincent Van Gogh, has gone through many transformations over the years. When asked to do a reading of it by J. Baugher of Switched-on Gutenberg, Stephen, unfortunately was unable to travel to Seattle. In lieu of his appearance he created this film featuring his own voice, photos, art and a montage of several Van Gogh masterpieces. Set to music and a soundtrack of echoing crows, this evocative tribute to Vincent is meant to invite empathy and respect for the artist as both suffering human and unsung genius.
Thank you "Sheri". Your ray of light arrived just when I needed it!
