This is a video on how to change you mac address on iphone/itouch running ios4
this is for network testing purposes only and should not be used to hack networks or cover up trails your mac address would leave behind.
Things you will need (also see side bar for list)
Jailbroken ios4
cydia
openssh
spoofmac
network-cmds
and a ssh program like winscp (pc)
the commands used were
ifconfig
ifconfig en0 ether 00:00:00:00:00:00 (repleace with mac address)
sorry about the end where it washed out
all i said was your mac address will reset after a repring or reboot
and the commands were
killall SpingBoard to respring
Halt to shut down

HELP ME PLS.

This doesn't work at all... or if it did only on very old iOS 4. This is the method used in iOS 3.1.3 though. In iOS 4 with terminal or with SSH the ether command will execute but the mac address just stays unchanged. If you got ifconfig not found it's because you didn't install the package network-cmds

Also, to change it on the go, download Mobile Terminal from Cydia, and save the cmd line "en0 ether xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx" (change the last 2 numbers each time u want a new one)

Wow, I made the same tutorial 2 weeks ago... :\
Not saying you can't make this, but why make another, with a different OS, but still unable to work for some people?
