May I ask what is the maximun depth your sensor could be behind the display in order to work? about iluminating blobs, is it possible to use frustrated total internal reflection too?

@emandala well you could move it as far back as you want but at the end of the day its designed to placed right behind the lcd panel so that you have a thin form factor.
Yes you can use FTIR, im going to be converting this board into DSI based system. All current IR vision based input methodology is supported ive tested this system with FTIR, LLP and LED-LP
