Broken: A Camp Rock Story 8

Brown: she’s right here.
Doctor: okay, I’m going to need to get her on an examination bed.
Brown: the nurse’s cabin is locked but we have cabin beds.
Doctor: that will do.

Shane scoped Mitchie up in his arms and carried her over to his cabin followed by the doctor, Brown, Nate, Caitlyn, and Jason. That’s right; Shane Grey was taking the girl that had broken his heart into a million pieces back to his cabin. Caitlyn had run off to go get Connie. Brown opened the door to the cabin and let Shane in, along with the others. Shane walked over to the spare bed and gently laid Mitchie down, placing a pillow behind her head. Connie came into the room, worried, followed by Caitlyn. Mitchie was still breathing heavily and the sweat was chilling her skin. Shane carefully unzipped her jacket, sliding it off of her shoulders and arms and revealing her tank top.

A.N. guys I’m making this up. I don’t know if this is actually how they check for this or solve it.

The doctor sat at the edge of the bed. He asked for a wet washcloth and once it was brought to him, he placed it on Mitchie’s forehead. The cool water calmed her breathing and soon she felt more trickling down her bare arms. Her breathing had returned to normal as the water ran down her. The doctor shined a light in both of her eyes. Finding that there was nothing wrong with her head, he started to check for the sickness. He pinched up the skin in her hand and let it go to see if it snapped back into place. Once he saw that it sunk back instead of snapping he felt her stomach, pushing down gently. He hmmed as he felt nothing but tissue.

Doctor: we’re going to need to take a blood test. *injects the needle into her arm and blood fills the container* *takes the needle out and places a bandage on the place the needle was*

The doctor pulled out a little microscope and spilled a little blood on a petrie dish. He slid it between the holders and looked through the eye piece. When he pulled away he looked very concerned. He pulled out a stethoscope and started to listen to Mitchie’s heart. Finding her heart rate normal he set it around his neck.

Doctor: she has little nutrition in her stomach and she is very dehydrated but that can result from the dancing.
Shane: how can she not have enough nutrition?
Doctor: well it can either be part of diabetes (I made it up. I don’t know if that is really a possibility). Or it could be from lack of food.
Jason: huh?
Doctor: well, a person needs nutrition and vitamins to survive. And they can only go 7 days without food before they die.
Caitlyn: now that I think about it she is always at kitchen duty, but never at dinner.
Doctor: Mitchie, how were you feeling when you were in the dance studio.
Mitchie: I was shaking and I felt dizzy but I thought I was just tired because I had an asthma attack yesterday.
Doctor: tell me Mitchie have you been eating?
Mitchie: n-no.
Doctor: when was the last time you ate?
Mitchie: about five days ago.
Connie: why would you do that sweetie?
Mitchie: *trys dodging the question* in my defense I didn’t officially stop until the third day. The first two I just couldn’t find time.
Jason: *starts crying* is she going to live?
Doctor: well, yes. Her weight is roughly 90. I want to try to get her to at least 95-115 which is normal for her age and height. I’m putting her on a diet. She will need to eat from all 5 food groups and bed rest for the next week. And some vitamins. It could be the Flinstone vitamins as long as she takes 2 everyday.
Brown: thank you doctor.
Doctor: I’ll come back in a week to check up on her. *walks out of Shane’s cabin, Brown holding the door open*
Everyone: *looks at Mitchie*
Brown: *closes the door and sighs* you, love, have a lot of explaining to do.

She's In Trouble Alright. Can You Blame Her? Everyone Thinks She's A Liar Except Jason, Nate, And Caitlyn. Possibly Shane. She Just Didn't Want To Have To Face Them Again. Though She Could've Atleast Ate In The Kitchen Or Her Cabin So She Didn't Have To Talk To Them.. On The Other Hand Rock On!
