This performance by Dudley (1992) was almost certainly one of his last.
There are no photo's or film of this performance.
It was held at the Royal Albert Hall which Dudley affectionately dubbed an 'Aircraft Hanger'. Hence the title of the CD - 'Live From an Aircraft Hanger'.
This was a concert that Dudley did with the BBC concert orchestra for one of their radio 2 programmes. I recorded it on cassette when it was broadcast. I don't think it was ever intended to make it commercially available as a cd but I believe that it was Rena Fruchter who made it happen in 2001. It is actually a cut down version of the concert as it was 90 minutes long.
I forgot to say that Dudley referred to the Albert hall as an aircraft hangar, hence the title

He did play "And the Same to You" on the Farewell Gala of Beyond the Fringe. It was the only film of the troupe ever recorded.
