Triarchy and Mauri represent the sound of a new generation of EDM producers. Touching the fine edges of prog, tingling the house fanatics and moving the trancers, is 'Air', their debut on ZOUK!

Based in Miami, all three producers behind this deep and contagious track are at the very epicenter of dance. When it's going down in Miami, it's going down anywhere around the globe. Triarchy, with Alberto Beeck and Patrick Pizzorni behind it, have already earned their stripes in dance land. These talented locals invited newcomer Bryant Mauri to join in on a fruitful studio session, with 'Air' as the stunning result!

Tracks:
Air (Original Mix) (06:30)
Air (Radio Edit) (03:48)

I agree with him to a point. While Armada (and trance/house in general) does pump out a lot of good music, some styles, themes, chord structures, etc. do get recycled to the point of exhaustion, especially contemporary trance. Why he would choose hardcore rap as an alternative, however, is beyond me.

well it's not a difference between 2 and 5 grams, i've previously asked you to show me a track that's 99% identical to this one and you failed in doing so and deflected. The fact is, the difference isn't that close but I do realise what you are talking about, regardless we could go on for days discussing this but the simple fact is that music is opinion based so someone may not mind small changes and some may. the way i see it, if it works and fits the genre then it's fine.

Perhaps I'm approaching this incorrectly. You're correct in the idea that there are defining aspects of each genre. A moving bassline in dubstep, guitars in modern rock music, four-to-the-floor patterns in trance. They would not be what they are without those aspects. But there are some song-to-song characteristics that we would consider undesirable, such as the aforementioned chord structure(s).

And if you're going to interpret my pie metaphor that narrowly, tell me the difference between 2 grain of sugar and 5 grains of sugar in an -entire pie-. The ability to taste a significant difference on one's part would be doubtful.

And if tracks are put together in a form where there's only minimal changes between songs, it -can- get annoying, especially in characteristics that we consider negative. You might not be bugged by it, but there are individuals that are, including myself and bubbles64194.

If you honestly want me to pull up some examples, I will, and they're not necessarily exclusive to Armada's library.

that just proves my point that you don't know what your talking about. Things get recycled all the time but so does a lot of things in the music industry it all matters how it's put together. And if you do get the same pie with added sugar you will taste a difference lol... either way a lot of pop music uses similar/same chords/progressions and yet a lot are so different from each other both because of vocals and the song structure.
