This is the first test of my prototype robot car and the Micro Magician from DAGU. The built in 3-axis accelerometer is capable of detecting both the magnitude and direction of an impact or collision. You can see in this video the car attempts to turn away from any object it collides with.

The Micro Magician is compatible with the Arduino IDE and comes with an Arduino bootloader pre-installed. Designed specifically for small robots. Features include:

Small size - 30mm x 60mm.
Input voltage from 3.6V - 9V.
ATmega168 or 328 MCU running at 8MHz (3.3V).
USB interface and ISP programming socket.
Dual 1A, FET "H" bridge with current limiting and motor braking.
3-axis accelerometer.
IR receiver for remote control via TV remote.
Up to 7 servos can plug directly onto the PCB with power directly from battery.
Male and female headers for easy connection to the PCB.
