I would never do that, and my hair is 25". Hair is not "just" hair, it's a part of our body. If it was unnecessary it wouldn't grow again.

I'm donating my hair this summer. I can't wait. I also don't understand anyone who says they would never do this. It helps kids and hair always grows back.

Locks of Love only sells the hair if they can't use it.

I.E.: If the hair isn't 10 inches long, bleached or gray.

They do help the sick children.

They need at least 6-8 10 in ponytails to make a single wig, so her donation of 2, twelve inch pigtails did not make two wigs.
