  • Tell me, what's the advantage of having two small trains over one large one, assuming the locomotive costs a bunch and the wagons cost only a bit in comparison. Station costs would be the same since you'd make one longer, rather then two shorter.

  • @SilentShadowLT The rating goes down on the supply station while no trains are loading there. Large trains can also be a problem in a larger network, leading to congestion if there is not room enough between junctions. You may also need several locomotives to pull a longer and thus heavier train. On the other hand a network with longer trains generally has higher capacity of cargo in transit.

  • Hi!

Why do you use so many signals?

  • @nordemoniac It's useful when you expand the railroad network. Then you want to squeeze in as much traffic as possible without jamming the system and having a lot of signals close together lets the trains closer to each other.

  • why you built 3 trains? 2 were enough i think.

why you built a double station at the unload point? one would be enough?

    just for demonstration purposes?

  • @USpecies You are right, the 3rd train was a bit unnecessary. I tend to build larger stations for unloading, as I later expand the railroad network and have more trains unload there.

  • @asdaarg But why those signals in particular? When I started using those signs in networked railroads, it all failed, I had to use the basic signals, and for a split leading up to several stations I use the entry before the split, then as many exit/entry signals as I need. Works alot better than the signs you are using, imo. If not, please enlighten me.. and upload some darn tutorials, they're hard to find.

  • 2:48 omg what happens? be quit drummer

  • you are awesome

  • didn't explain why do you use different singlas at the station where they unload....

I know because the train with full cargos will wait until the other trains unload the cargos and don't make another circle on the track.

  • stupiddd video

  • what song is it? Good tutorial, thank you!

  • gotta love the ffw button

  • music makes you wanna go to sleep
