sgt pepper is such an awesome album. I dont know which of my fav albums is better, this or abbey road. Sgt. pepper is so innovative and fun to listen to while abbey road is just to damn powerful of an album. The beatles are and will always be the one of the greatest groups in history. Todays music is just so.. hard to describe.. but not good and Im 21. You would think I would be listening to my generation's music but I dont. Just early 90's and back but mostly centered around 1950 to 1980
no he played his rickenbacker during the sgt. pepper era and pulled it out again when he started wings. its the same bass too, but he stripped the paint job off when geoge and john did it to their guitars during the white album:)
@pablotabloz he got his rickebacker bass in 1964. Harrison recalls its first use on "Think For Yourself" (8 November '65). It served as a backup for live dates in late '65, and for the '66 tours, but in terms of recording, by the time the band made "Paperback Writer" and "Rain" in the spring of '66, the Rickenbacker had become McCartney's bass of choice. and eventully he switched between his rick and his hofner
