  • You can get them at the Family Christian Book Store. They cost around $80 for SD, & online, $120 for HD. You do have to pay a monthly membership too of about $8 to continually download the latest filters. Though you can call & temporally cancel the membership after you have the latest ones.

But we've had a lot of trouble the SD player, along with the reviewers on Amazon. The customer support is great, but we've gone through several players for ourselves, & as a gift for a friend

  • A ClearPlay DVD player edits out all the bad parts in the video without doing anything to the DVD. You download the filter programs from their website clearplay(dot)com onto a thumb stick & then onto your player. You're able to choose what stuff you want taken out; blood, violence, language, etc...

There's well over 2000 filters so far & they're great! We've been able to watch movies like Spider & Iron Man, Star Trek, The Great Escape, etc...

  • what is a clear play machine, how does it work, and where do we get them?
