@YouPickedTheWrongGuy Yah.Adrenal fatigue/exhaustion is something I am dealing with right now.It can lead to hypoglycemia and other progressively worse issues like diabetes. Not to mention it really mess up just about anything else bc adrenals create hormones that regulate body systems' functions. At the moment,I'm using Nettles as a tea/infusion as a adrenal trophorestorative to bring balance back to my body to get rid of the symptoms.Amongst other healthful measures.

If a person has messed up adrenal glands, will it affect your blood sugar? If so can adrenal problems cause LOW blood sugar?

@debradebbiedeb Well, yes, lactose is dairy sugar, but one of the ways that keeps us from abusing dairy sugar is that it always (in nature) comes paired with fat, which has you get satiated faster. Unlike, say, a muffin. Avoid low-fat dairy like the plague!

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU! Hypoglycemia and blood sugar problems are the reason I've been on anti-anxiety medications, anti-depressants, and ADD medication for 6 years! The doctors were trying to treat my symptoms but they have been masking the root cause! Wow, I need to stop eating sugar and carbs.. but how can one fight the cravings!??
BenderHols420 1 week ago
@BenderHols420 Good for you for seeing the root problem! For starters, the cravings will get better the faster you cut down on carbs, and make sure you eat some fat with everything. We actually have a package built just for this, called the 7-Day Challenge, which helps a lot. Contact my office if you want more info about it, but I designed it to do exactly this: help people figure out what to do and how not to have cravings. I can't wait to see how much better you're going to feel :-)

I have always had to eat little and often otherwise I get tired and grouchy. I'm looking for portable snacks I can take with me as I go about my day. The trouble is I really dislike nuts (except the very odd bit of ground or flaked almond) and I'm not mad about seeds either. Do you have any suggestions of something that might work for me? Thanks in advance for your help.
prettybutterfly2007 3 weeks ago
@prettybutterfly2007 You could try coconut butter, or eating coconut oil - we have lots of patients who dissolve coconut oil in coffee or hot tea, or even lick it off a spoon! It's brilliant for stabilizing blood sugar and your body can't turn coconut oil into fat. It's actually better not to eat too many nuts - increases Omega 6's in the body, which are inflammatory. I hope this helps!

first off thank you for this video! I have a question....When I don't have coffee and sugar I get REALLY irritable/angry and I have more insecurity feelings. I have stopped eating refined sugar for 3 months and I felt edgy (mean and insecure) Is there a way to do this without this happening? Please help, thank you.
grvonny 1 month ago
@grvonny I'm wondering if you have a vitamin B deficiency, because B's get depleted with high carb intake (and stress) and lots of people are deficient. It often shows up as a "frazzled" or "frayed" nerves feeling because it's used in nerve transmission (and then people have the experience of feeling edgy, testy, irritable, etc. If you can get a liquid B vitamin complex (not just one or two of the B's but a mix) and take that for a while, it should help. But good for you for getting off sugar!!
