Part two of two. Yamhill County Commissioner Mary Stern makes a motion that Commissioner Lewis should be held responsible for her actions and reimburse the county for $46,000 that was paid to reimburse employee Murray Paolo for his legal expenses that he incurred protecting himself from false allegation put forward by Commissioner Lewis. Mr. Paolo was found not guilty of charges with the exception of one very minor ethics violation of paying a relative $130.00 for work done for the county with out filing appropriate paperwork as to her relationship with him. This witch hunt cost the taxpayers over $100,000 in staff time. The personal cost to Mr. Paolo 's reputation and well being is significant.
