Visit Us at www.papayatreenursery.com Alex Silber of Papaya Tree Nursery in Granada Hills California shows you how to prune your guava tree for controlled growth, easy accessibility and maximum fruit production.
Very informative vid! I didn't even know you could grow guavas in California. I'm originally from south fla & they do very well there, but they don't grow well in central Florida( region 9a/9b). Also the fruit here is very suseptible to worms, which is just gross....
Help !!! can somebody please tell me why my guava tree is dropping all the small guavas. i dont have idea why...to me maybe the heat here in California we've been in the 100s for a couple of days please allthe little guavas are falling down...i got 3 guava trees and only one is the problem..any idea ?please help''
we will be posting a follow-up video of what the tree looks like today, in the next few weeks or so. I have received similar requests for the "After" shot and now realize how important it is to show people how the tree responds to such a heavy pruning. Thank you for your interest.
