such an amazing writer. song is a classic, as if it's always been there.

Boy does Joni look great and more importantly sound so sweet. The unmistakable vocals of a legend who does Judy Collins justice here. When I was a little kid my parents had the Judy Collins album and I played this song countless times. Pure nostalgia for me.

It looks like Elton John in the sunglasses,he's a big fan of Joni's.
One interesting thing: I didn't hear her use her
often used "fingernail snap" around this time. I wonder if this is when she started it... it is not
on the original recording. She used it on "Court
and Spark", which if any of you don't have, run out and get it right away. It's been called one of the best pop albums ever made, and I agree.
