iowa is not a small name school brad banks finished runner up to carson palmer for the heisman in 2002, chuck long finished runner up to bo jackson for the heisman in 1985, and nile kinnick won the heisman in 1939...there is no way you can justify putting javon ringer ahead of shonn greene when most of ringers yards came against non conference foes. your logic is unsound. you claim that iowa's record was disaster they were 9-4 dominated minnesota and south carolina to finish the season.

True but how many players NO MATTER HOW GREAT go to the heisman without a good team. You won't see no one from Buffalo, San Diego, Tulsa, or any other small name school win Heisman from there because those teams never succeed. And Iowa well there one of those teams. Yes they beat PSU but no one considered them a threat still. They let MSU beat them which they should of won. Believe it or not you can't win Heisman if your team record is DISASTER! And well that would be Iowa.

AGREED. everybpdy says oh he didnt carry his team. BULLSHIT. he rushed like crazy every week and his stats prove it and seriously when iowa beat penn state it was like, ya, whoopidy do, penn state was playing great and iowa barely got mentiond after

Can you explain to me why you have ringer and moreno listed but not shonn greene? He has more rushing yards and touchdowns than moreno. He has more yards than ringer even though he has about 100 less carries. Averages 6.2 YPC even though he faces 8 guys in the box every week. Was the main reason Iowa upset #3 Penn State. He is the only running back in the nation to rush for over 100 yards in every game this year. He should be the top back this year no doubt.

im feeling mccoy or crabtree. ppl have to take into account all the playmakers both tebow and bradford have around them. mccoy is single handedly leadin texas to a bcs bowl this year and harrell, i feel, pushed crabtree into the mix by showin how easily rattled he can get with a lil pressure
