Makeup Remover Type:
1) 2 Phases Oil and Water: two layers in bottle and you shake it to use. Not very effective for me because I need to rub really hard to remove makeup and it tugs on my skins. Sometimes when it gets in your eyes it can make your vision blurry.
2) Cream/Gel: Can be good if you find the right brands. The Estee Lauder one wasn't that good because it didn't take off all my waterproof mascara and it left my face with an oily film.
3) Cleansing Towelettes: Good as a once in awhile makeup remover. I still don't like how it tugs on the skin and you have to rub it really hard to remove waterproof makeup. This can create wrinkles after long term use.
4) Cleansing Lotion: I'm not sure if all of this type of remover work as well as the Kose Softymo Point Eye Makeup Remover, but this particular one works really well. It is a bit runnier than the cream/gel type so you can put it on a cotton pad and just wipe all of your makeup away. It has a gentle formula so even if you get it in your eyes it won't hurt them.
5) 2 Way Cleansing Oil: This type of cleansing oil you can use when your face is either wet or dry. Very convenient for people who wants to do everything in the shower. Just use it before face wash. However, it won't work as well if your face gets really wet. The drier your face and hands are the more concentrate the oil can be and the more effective it will be.
6) Cleansing Oils: Most cleansing oils require you to use it while your face and hands are still dry for max effectiveness. I find most cleasning oils to be the most effective in removing makeup especially waterproof mascara. You can use this in the shower also if you just be careful not to get your hands and face wet and to use it right when you get in the shower. ( I like to do everything in shower so it's more convenient for me)
7) Cleansing Water: The one I showed is the Caudalie Cleansing Water. This is good to use post face wash if you still have some makeup left in your lash lines. I don't recommend this as the primary makeup remover just because it isn't as effective as some of the other ones. Good thing about this is that it's all natural and there's no rinse involved. The texture is just like water so you don't get any greasy or stickiness afterward.
All in all, I don't recommend any method of makeup removing that involves hard rubbing and tugging on the skin. This can irritate the eye area, and create wrinkles or fine lines in the future.

Thanks for watching ^.^
The Ponds towelettes are really really effective at makeup removal. I took off my makeup with a St. Ives exfoliating cleansing cloth and then right after I used the Ponds, and it was able to remove some makeup that was left behind by the other one. I use it every night and I don't think it's that harsh on my skin. But I have to wash my face after I use it because I feel like it leaves a sticky residue. It makes my face really smooth afterwards, though.
