DESERT ISLAND RESORT @ SIR BANI YAS

Welcome to my short hotel report about the Desert Island Hotel & Resort. It's the only hotel on Sir Bani Yas Island. The Island is a national park. It's like a reservation where a lot of animals have been settled. The hotel is a 5 Star hotel and belongs to the anantara hotel chain. Please enjoy!

That is a pretty amazing hotel, amandeuce. Just sheer luxury. Fantastic. I really enjoyed it. Why did you go to Abu Dabhi for vacation or was it for work? Was it suggested to you by a travel agency? I don't know much about Abu Dabhi, but I did not know it was a vacation spot. Seeing this video, however, makes me think it's a great vacation spot. I think bootsy will have to help out more with the buffer instead of just salad. Homer and I will just get too fat with the buffet. Great video!

@sfflyer123 Thank you sfflyer! I was there for vacation with brother and mother, and my mother booked all the travel. She was there before and wanted to go again. And back home in Switzerland it was already cold as ice so we decided to go to a warm place. The UAE are great for vacation! You should see Dubai once in a lifetime. hhaha I just thought about you guys when I saw the buffet ;) thank you!

Loris...first of all...great video...it must be great to be young and rich ;)

2ndly....@1:18 an electric toothbrush on charge.

3rdly.....@ 1:33 did you let yourself fall back on to the bed?

4th......I would have the salad and Homer and sfflyer could make short work of the rest of the buffet....all they would need to do is pretend they were on a plane in first class at 39,000 feet in the air....mission accomplished :)

It looks a nice and peaceful place..the pool looks very inviting.

@19bootsy68 haha thank you mark! toothbrush belongs to my brother, mine was stored in the bathroom ;) and yes that was me on the bed hahaha, first I thought I have to comment that in my video but I didn't because I knew some of you would recognize it :) thank you for the nice words and the funny comment. It's a shame that I didn't film the Qasr al sarab resort in the desert, much more exciting than this one here :(

Nice video, but I prefer Anantara Qasr al Sarab in Abu Dhabi, and they also have 3 new resorts planned in Abu Dhabi in the next couple of years. None in Dubai though.

Great video, the resort is run by Anantara and you can book it at anantara.com Been there with my 2 kids and we went on the wildlife drive which lasts about 90 minutes and the sunset catamaran cruise, total bliss only 2.5 hours from Abu Dhabi city.

@sfflyer123 Fantastic....Homer has money and Emirates Skywards points he can use im sure...Loris is from rich stock...he will be ok im sure.....Hold up...im down to my last 28,000 Emirates Skywards points...maybe enough for a one way upgrade...plus im poorer than you guys.....me and my big mouth!! ....damn it...where's my fathers phone number...he's rich.. my problem is solved....if i can only find a belated birthday card for him :)

@19bootsy68 You're too funny, Mark. I am sure that you could hold your share of food and alcohol if you were motivated enough! One day, I'll try to hit DXB. They now have a non-stop from SFO with a 777. If it's cheap, then that has my name written all over it, even if it's hot!

@sfflyer123 You'd never stick an amateur boxer in the ring to box a professional boxer....the salad would do for this amateur...and leave you and Homer the two professionals to make light work of the rest of the buffet...

sfflyer you must buy yourself a ticket to DXB...Emirates flights non stop from LAX....just dont go in our summer months Dubai's heat is just stupid in them months thats why in the UK they offer really cheap 5 night breaks then...we can all meet in Dubai or Abu Dhabi :)
