I like marvel and dc, for dc mostly batman and his story between the three robins and for marvel the story of the avengers and villains.

@frogstompy, no, that sounds even nerdier! lol. comics sounds nice and casual like "oh, I just read 'em on my down time." But graphic novel sounds like "I take comics very seriously and so should you! It's not just for kids!" XD

@solarlolax I feel the same about Y: The Last Man. It really is good but the ending is heh. I would recommend people get the trades though.
