Sarah was in ninth grade when she attended a mandatory 5-day health class on sex-ed in her public school. But when Sarah's mother heard that she was being taught that condoms don't work, abortion is baby-killing comparable to the deaths on 9/11, and that young people are at risk for suicide if they engage in pre-marital sex, she took action and rallied a community to stand up for their children.

  • @joshua22267 That's sort of true. But latex condoms do protect against almost all diseases including HIV. Necessary steps can be taken to prevent the spread of other diseases like herpes.

  • ok people here a fact condoms do work but are very limited if u do one thing wrong it lower your chances of the condom workin period u can still get hiv while wearing a condom becuz of how small the virus is condoms DO NOT PROTECT AGAINST ALL STDS!!!! period that is the truth abstinence is the best way to go but not alot of people do it then theres the fact that the media trys to push that safe sex is the way to go becuz of how they are 99% effective well im sorry but they arent i know tons of

  • @TheRedLuigi Yeah I was laughing there. I actually think abstinence before marriage is a bad idea. Most people at least in their actions go along with that, but there is some pretty good evidence and support behind the idea that having people stay virgins until they are married is actually HARMFUL.

  • @beeholy Regular sex ed classes always cover both. They talk about abstinence but then they tell you what to do if you don't abstain. But these people want to ONLY teach abstinence and not teach anything about reproduction, stds, contraception, etc. This has been proven to result in higher teen pregnancies, more STDs, etc etc

  • @beeholy Schools should teach both. Not every parent can or will give proper facts, we have schools for a reason, they should teach both abstinence and sex ed.

Don't make this a left or right issue.

  • 0:29 Everyoen agrees? lol
