You know the sad thing is that if this had been made in the 70's or 80's it would 've probably been shown on Disney Channel just before or just after the fall of the Soviet Union. I remeber them showing a lot of European stuff. Now all you see from overseas Stateside is Anime. Note; I'm an Anime fan. So much for Globalism as a solution to all barriers.
