PENTAGON CLAWS ON OBAMA'S BALLS

Lt. Dan Choi is an Arabic speaking serviceman who is being discharged under "Don't Ask Don't Tell"--current military policy which says anyone publicly identifying, or identified by others, as being homosexual are not allowed to serve in the armed services. He is still in the service awaiting "what kind" of discharge he will receive. He wants to make military service his career & speaks Arabic which could be used to save American lives in the Afghanistan, Iraq & the Middle East. Dan Choi retained by the military to help save lives in the Middle East. His biography is as follows:

" LT. DAN CHOI recently extended the arc toward justice for gay servicemembers initiated in 1975 by Leonard Matlovich by stating I am
gay on national television. An Arabic speaker, infantry officer, and Iraq combat veteran, he is awaiting the final decision of the com-
mander of the U.S. 1st Army after being recommended for discharge under DADT. As a West Point graduate, he is a cofounder of
Knights Out, an organization of Academy alumni, faculty, and staff working to overturn DADT. Before coming out publicly as a gay ser-
vicemember, he campaigned against passage of Californias Proposition 8 and continues to advocate for state and federal marriage
equality. He is on the Steering Committee for the National Equality March and will lead the gay veterans delegation solemnly laying a
wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Arlington National Cemetery at noon on Saturday, October 10th. "

as an enlisted member of the military ther is no way i could ever respect this clown as an officer . i wouldnt even be able to look at him in the eyes because to me he "unclean"

So, if you were in Afghanistan you'd go without an interpreter & endanger your life and that of your fellow soldiers? You might feel righteous about doing that but it would be morally wrong to endanger others becasuse of your personal prejudices & opinions.

Wow! what an inspiring speaker ... its great to have Lt. Dan Choi as one of the most compelling voices in the LGBT community.

Thanks for the encouraging feedback! Tell your activist friends we should ask Obama to STOP his being discharged NOW. Freeze "Don't Ask Don't Tell" and then kill it later. Freeze it right now so it can do no more harm.

if the afgahns knew that he was gay they wouldnt deal with him. ...and i would rather just take my chances with out this choi fellow or anyone like him.

this video should be seen by all of the 65,000 troops who serve our country "in the closet" it really made me think, what am I doing to fight for my rights by hiding who I am...
