@fredolee16 mate zender left he band in 1998, fyfe took over for the sykronized tour and played then onwards however all the bass recorded in that album is actually synth bass and jamiroquai has an amazing keyboard player so actually he gets credit for this not stuz, paul or nick, just thought i'd clear that up :)

@GBagley I think that is because the wind instruments.

No problem man. It just to remind that Nick was a good bass player man, and so underated.
-
@fredolee16 your right on that one. since stu was the beginning thats all most of us remember thanks for the reminder =-D

@Juggernaut2790 Nick Fyffe was the guy who play bass for jamiroquai from 1997 to 2003 so he has all the credit for this excellent bass lines. St zender left the band on 1997. You guys sometimes forget about Nick and only talk about Stu and Paul.

@GreenWave0101 - Thanks. I'm probably in-tune, it's Jamiroquai that's out of tune! I don't know if they record to tape and then mess with it or what, but some of their songs are just not in A440 tuning.

Sounds better than the synth bass on the record.
How much was that Ken Lawrence?
Like $5K?

@Verbeke1992 - I bought it used, so I paid less, but that's about what a new one from Ken would cost.

This is sooo cool! is there any way to play this on a 4 string bass?

You would have to move some of the octaves around (since you don't have a low B-string), but yeah, you could do it.
