Is that done with an etching gun down to to metal and putting a few coats over it with paint? Then putting coats of clear???

Knuckle-head was clear coating a helmet using Matrix MS-52 clear.....nasty smelling stuff! Of course, his dumb-ass wasn't wearing a mask or respirator. The man can lay down some perfect clear, though!!!
