Case Against Intelligent Design Part 3 Barbara Forrest and Kitzmiller v Dover Area School Board vi

Third Part of a video series I have made inspired by FreedomOspeech's circumcision series. I have pulled from a wide variety of sources videos that should cover all the bases when dealing with intelligent design claims.

Reginald Vaughn Finley, Sr. (born in 1974), is a former R&B singer, now an atheist activist, Internet radio host, and podcaster in Atlanta, Georgia, known as the Infidel Guy.He founded and maintains The Infidel Guy show, Atheist forums, The Secret Hates Amputees, and co-founded the Atheist Network.He says he likes the term "infidel" because everyone is an infidel in the eyes of millions of others.

The Infidel Guy Show has featured personalities from across the philosophical spectrum, including scientists Michio Kaku and Richard Dawkins, lawyer Michael Newdow, creationist Kent Hovind, Ali Sina of Faith Freedom International, philosopher Massimo Pigliucci, and Michael Shermer, founder of the Skeptics Society.

Forrest is a graduate of Hammond High School. She received her B.A. in English in 1974 from Southeastern Louisiana University, her M.A. in Philosophy in 1978 from Louisiana State University, and her Ph.D. in philosophy from Tulane University in 1988. She has taught philosophy at Southeastern Louisiana University since 1988 and presently is professor of philosophy in the Department of History and Political Science.

She co-authored Creationism's Trojan Horse: The Wedge of Intelligent Design (Oxford University Press, 2004), with biologist Paul R. Gross. The book examines the goals and strategies of the intelligent design movement and its attempts to undermine the teaching of evolutionary biology. The authors analyze the absence of a scientific intelligent design hypothesis, ID's religious foundations, and the political ambitions of intelligent design proponents. They examine the movement's Wedge strategy which has advanced and is succeeding through public relations rather than through scientific research. They also highlight intelligent design creationism's relationship to public education and to the separation of church and state.

Forrest serves on the board of directors of the National Center for Science Education (NCSE), the Board of Trustees of Americans United for Separation of Church and State, and the New Orleans Secular Humanist Association (NOSHA).

I should also say, thank you for posting these, I shall be making note of some of the comments made in these vids for future reference. It is interesting to note that the proponents of ID don't actually do any study in that field!

it amazes me when you read the Answers in Genesis websites reaction about the Dover trial, they try and spin it to say the Judge was biased and his decision was based on ignorance.

What is it with these people that they just cannot admit they were wrong?
