  • Alot of his stuff is high art. "Cant get off" is more than likely the best track on this album.

  • needs no video

  • Incredible, awesome, mind blowing...just words that dont come close to describing how good this is. I bought this album on its release and still love it today, its actually one fo the few rock albums I still listen to. Still cannot believe some fo the shitty reviews it got. This track and 'God Thing' are my 2 standouts. I love this track so much, the riff at 1:34 kills me everytime and I love the little yell in the background at 2:02 ? Sounds like it is being played in your living room.

  • @technothanks you have my utmost respect by saying that comment. true lover of music.

  • @cmetta4 Agreed! This is a masterpiece! As raw and real as it gets!

  • Sad to say, but I believe this a case where the album COVER hurt the sales of this truly CLASSIC masterwork. I enjoy this lp every bit as much as I enjoy "PHYSICAL GRAFFITTI" by Led Zeppelin, "GRACE" by Jeff Buckley or any of the first four or five VAN HALEN albums. Certainly as much as anything by METALLICA, MOTORHEAD or JUDAS PRIEST, to really stretch things.

"DIN of ECSTASY" is THAT good.

I hope that Chris' daughter TRIXIE drew this, 'cause that makes everything okay in my book.....

  • lucky we were then, two shows, now defunct 8x10 club i think it was so called, DC. sense of beauty terror in the room, end of the world it felt like. such was the juice. dark. come round midnight.,fierce projection. nothing left to lose loose. gift to/for release heavy. no tomorrow abandon. such was then. captivity escape moments topplin on over themselves. nothin more could be given. all was it.

  • @cmetta4 good you know him,and check out his daughter, trixie, she's playing solo, and has a band as well, called Black Dub!

  • recently rediscoverd whitley, but first when this album came out, helped me with some rough times in my life, cant believe this is supposed to be one of his worst, people just dont get it, no one i know knows him or will listen when i suggest, people suck....

  • amen brotherr!
