We actually banished it to the garage a few months ago. We needed relief from the smell and it was too much of a pain prepping the food to go into it. We have a blog about our experiences at kitchencomposter[dot]org.

I'm curious how you like it yourself...I just got one yesterday and the thing left my house stinking...I think the rubber gasket is crappy...I'm going to the hardware store and get one of those stick on kind...hopefully it solves the issue
