Ni no Kuni (PS3): Boss #15/16/17 - Faraja

Note: This can be either boss 15, 16, or 17.
Note 2: All 3 of these bosses are weak to Fire so picking up a Burning Sword from Samura Village is highly recommended.

Next up is a place that curses our party into frogs and we eventually find a way to break our curse. So we can finally fight this guy for the second of the magic stones we need to revive Gradion.

Ancient Snake Tactician: Faraja (古の蛇軍師ファラージャ)
Weak: Fire, Light
Resist: Wind
Steal: Heavy Mail (ヘビーメイル)
Drop: None

Lightning Strike (雷撃破)
Single-target, wind, heavy damage. Shoots purple lightning at the target. Ridiculous start up time making it easy to guard.

Vacuum Wave (真空波)
Area of effect, wind, heavy damage. Throws a gust of air forward that hits anything standing too close to them. Move out of range or guard it.

Cursed Sound (呪音)
All-Target, n/a, inflicts curse. There is absolutely no need to guard this... all curse does is slow you down and this boss is easy.

I'd say I'm almost insulted at how easy this guy was after the last one... but then there's still the next stone to get.

This guy happens to be weak to Heavyweight's effect but only IF it hits him. Up to you if you want to waste time on it. I usually just get it to work once then spam it until it fails and finish him off.
