New and Certified Pre-Owned Pet Adopt-a-thon

The April 29-May 1, 2011 New and Certified Pre-Owned Pet Adopt-a-thon was a HUGE success! Nearly half of our available dogs and cats found their forever homes, and guests enjoyed a full weekend of food, fun and specials!

Iris, an eight-year-old domestic longhair cat -- one of our long-term residents -- was among the pets who finally found their forever homes, and Newton, a two-year-old hound mix, was adopted to a welcoming forever home as well! Many dogs and cats interacted with guests, enjoyed walks with volunteers and met many new friends! Check out our Facebook album to see photos from the event!
