I make these to keep my Japanese studies fun. So I welcome corrections and suggestions! Thanks~

Working on and watching these helps me learn kanji. Kinda why I call it a read-along. She uses kanji for 35 of her words, maybe if you read along enough you will learn them all! Plus, it's fun scribbling lyrics when you're bored. Well, here they are in order of appearance:

  • lumiereのカバーのほうがいい

  • I love this song and the video. I always wanted to find a good translation. Thanks for posting.

Is anyone else kinda reminded of Kenny from South Park when she is in the orange hoodie? She looks really cute in it.

  • I love this song ^_^ <3 a friend of mine sent it to me a while ago, I bought the CD, and now it reminds me of my boyfriend whenever I hear it ('cause I really like milk tea, and at the moment, we're far apart ^^ lol). Thanks. He's just started taking a 101 class, so now with the subtitles he can understand the song better than me translating it x3 lol <3

  • i love ametora

    such a stellar album

  • If you want to learn Japanese, by translating Japanese songs, use the mindless J-pop songs out there.

  • In my experience, UA is difficult to translate because she's very creative and intelligent; like a poet. I can barely understand poetry in English, much less Japanese. I would suggest sitting down with someone who is Japanese, with a good understanding of English, but wanting to improve her/his English skills; and work together to figure out the translation -- from a creative/poet standpoint. Find the right person and you'll both learn a lot and have a lot of fun.

  • finally, subs for this song. thank you!

  • thanks u for this - it would be great to have hiragana so those with limited kanji capacity could sing also
